The Exeter Fire Department No. 1 is a volunteer fire department that provides emergency services to the eastern half of Exeter Rhode Island.
Our department operates out of two stations with eight pieces of apparatus. We serve an area of approximately 36 square miles and a community of about 6,500 residents.
Station 1 is located at 305 Ten Rod Road and houses Engine 7, Tanker 6, Ladder 1, and Unit 1.
Station 4 is located at 471 South County Trail and houses Engine 8, Tanker 9, Engine 6, and Unit 2.
